Founded in 1984, IPAM is the oldest and largest school of Marketing in Portugal and one of the oldest in the world. Recognised for the innovative spirit and approach to companies, IPAM has constantly evolved and is currently based on the concept of “Marketing Leads Business”, where it reinforces its mission of “training successful professionals, disruptive leaders, with multi-faceted, creative but analytical profiles capable of leading and transforming business and society through a Marketing vision”.

Message from the Director of IPAM Lisbon

With physical campuses in Porto and Lisbon, and with an online presence, the Institution has trained, in almost four decades of activity, more than 20 000 students, with a wide network of Alumni with prominent positions in institutions of national and international renown.

IPAM Lisbon currently offers 1 Professional Higher Technical Course, 2 Bachelor's Degrees, 3 Masters Degrees, in Portuguese and English and dozens of Postgraduate courses in day, night and online regimes for more than 3 000 students.

We offer about 80 protocols with leading foreign universities, such as Pace New York; Dublin City University; EPHEC Brussels; ESIC Spain or ESPM Brazil, we have more than 150 students in international mobility programmes and we welcome dozens of foreign students, mainly from Brazil, Angola, Mozambique, Cape Verde, UK, Germany, Italy, Canada, China, Holland and Poland.

IPAM has more than 350 protocols and partnerships with reference institutions (national and international), such as L'Oréal, Continente, Navigator, McDonalds, Toys R Us, Adega Mayor, Redbull, Delta Q, National Geographic, Everything is New, Rock in Rio, Santander, Makro, Dott, Portuguese Surfing Federation, Staples, Águas do Vimeiro. Boticário, Concentra, Sonae, Yellow Bus, So Natural, PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PWC), Wells, Fidelidade, Tolife, Chicco, and Kidzania, among others. From the entrepreneurship point of view, we have projects with institutions such as the National Federation of Business Angels and Education Network.

The pillar of sustainability and social responsibility is part of IPAM's DNA, having already collaborated with the Oceano Azul Foundation, Ben & Jerrys, Amarna Vida, Apoio à Vida, Cabo de Mar and Amigo Ouvido.

We participate in numerous national and international competitions, including Junior Achievement Portugal, Awards, Grace, Global Management Challenge (GMC), and National Young Farmers Competition (CAP), where we have won the first place several times.

Among others, all these initiatives strengthen our daily connection to the business world and contribute to the fantastic employability rates of our students.

IPAM promotes innovative and differentiating teaching in the classroom, seeking to inspire for better marketing and for a better world. We differentiate ourselves by the passion for Marketing, worked in a collaborative and practical spirit, directed to know how to base a practice and for professional immersion in an academic context.

IPAM focuses its efforts on a teaching model centred on today’s student - the world’s future professional, promoting the development of skills that enhance their employability anywhere in the world.
