Bachelor's degrees

Admission to undergraduate degrees at IPAM is open to applicants meeting the following criteria.

Choose your current situation:

Secondary education (or equivalent) + National Exams

  • Citizen card: or Identity card and Taxpayer card
  • ENES report: mandatory, updated, if the specific tests were taken in years prior to the year of access
  • Application form
  • Attendance conditions

Once you have gathered all the required documents, you can proceed with your application.

Over 23 years of age

  • Citizen card: or Identity card and Taxpayer card

International student status

  • Citizen card: or ID card or Taxpayer ID or Passport
  • High School Certificate: apostilled according to the Hague Convention; for non-adherent countries, the High School Certificate must be authenticated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and later by the respective consular services or Portuguese embassies in the country.
  • Portuguese Secondary Education Equivalency (undertaken in Portugal at a Public Secondary School) - http://www.dge.mec.pt/faq-equivalencias-de-habilitacoes-estrangeiras
  • Declaration of application of the Status of International Student (EEI) year 2022/2023- Sworn statement that the applicant does not have Portuguese nationality and is not covered by any of the conditions listed in Article 3(2) of Decree-Law No. 36/2014, of 10 March

University transfer

  • Certificate of achievement or enrolment: from the higher education institution of origin, indicating the last academic year of enrolment
  • Document proving specific tests: (ENES form) or equivalent document
  • Document proving completion of secondary education or equivalent document
  • Application form
  • Attendance conditions

Holders of Technological Specialisation Diplomas

Individual Subjects Scheme

Master's degrees

Admission to master's degrees at IPAM is open to applicants meeting the following criteria.

Choose your current situation:

With a Portuguese degree

  • Citizen card: or Identity card and Taxpayer card
  • Application form
  • Attendance conditions
  • Letter of Motivation
  • Certificate of Educational Qualifications of the bachelor's degree: with reference to the average obtained)
  • Up-to-date Curriculum Vitae

In some cases, there is also the possibility of enrolling in a master's degree course when your bachelor's degree is about to be completed. In these cases, the student can start in the Individual Subjects Scheme and will need these documents:

  • Registration form for individual subjects
  • Citizen card: or Identity card and Taxpayer card
  • Curriculum vitae

This scheme allows the student to attend classes and be evaluated in the Curricular Units of the Master’s Degree programme (in the Individual Subjects scheme, confirming the maximum number of ECT's with the admissions team) while they do not yet meet the conditions to enrol as a master's degree student:

  • If you meet the conditions to enrol as a master's degree student by the end of the academic year and present the relevant documentation, you can enrol in the Master's programme in the following year;
  • All Curricular Units that you pass will be included in your academic transcript, thus enabling you to proceed to the 2nd year of the Master’s programme (the transition to the 2nd year depends on the subjects that you pass).

With a foreign degree

  • Certificate of Educational Qualifications of the bachelor's degree: with reference to the average obtained
  • Curriculum vitae
  • You will need to present your degree with an Apostille applied: if you are in a signatory country to this convention
  • NARIC Declaration: Declaration of level of course and/or foreign higher educational institution (certifies the level of foreign higher education studies/degrees in the country of origin and, where applicable, the foreign Higher Education Institutions that confer them as Recognised Institutions), you can apply at the following link: https://www.dges.gov.pt/RecOn/FormularioNaric

Executive education

Admission to Executive education at IPAM is open to applicants meeting the following criteria.

Access

You can apply to the Universidade Europeia Executive Training programmes if you have a bachelor's degree or even if you don’t have any university qualifications (with some exceptions). Your motivations and professional experience play an important role in the admission process.

  • Letter of motivation: mandatory in case of professional experience

Pre-application/Pre-registration

If you don’t have all the necessary documentation mentioned above, you can start your pre-application by submitting your personal documents so that we can reserve a place for you. You can then send the remaining documents to complete the application process.
