Students registering at IPAM for the first time who do so in advance may be eligible for reduced base annual tuition fees, internally financed by the Institution. If you have any questions about the admission conditions and current vacancies, please consult the Admissions Department.

Students who enter an academic cycle programme (via the normal admissions system) with an average equal to or greater than 16 may be eligible for a reduction of up to 50% of the base annual tuition fee. Former students who have completed a programme in the past or current students who are still completing a program and wish to progress to another study cycle within the university benefit from special conditions in terms of payments and/or annual tuition fees.

In cooperation with the Portuguese Directorate-General for Higher Education (DGES), IPAM contributes to the efficiency of applications from students who apply for Social Scholarships through close monitoring and rapid assessment of their individual circumstances.

The DGES Scholarship consists of State support so that students with economic difficulties can bear the costs associated with studying at the university. You can see whether you are eligible at https://www.dges.gov.pt/simulador/.
