SuPERA

Support for the promotion and stimulation of Academic Performance
  • SuPERA

Stimulating academic success, preventing student alienation and promoting integration and attention to the specific characteristics of each student are the three major challenges that the SuPERA programme aims to address, in line with some of the sustainable development objectives that are fundamental to the dynamics of higher education institutions:

Through the initiatives developed by the Office for Supporting Diversity and Promoting Academic Success and the work of a team of tutors who are attentive and prepared to streamline the student's interaction with their institution, the SuPERA programme consolidates the student orientation that we assume at the Universidade Europeia and adds value to the academic experience that we want to provide to those who choose to do their higher education with us.

Empathy, inclusion, rigour and a collaborative spirit are fundamental values in this project, which aims to reinforce strategies to maintain high retention, academic success and employability rates among our future graduates, capable of generating a truly positive social impact for the country.

By targeting the entire educational community, this programme also includes training and awareness-raising activities for good practices in the field of diversity, inclusive education and the promotion of academic success in a university context.

SuPERA is a project funded by the Impulso Mais Digital investment, more specifically by the Innovation and Pedagogical Modernisation in Higher Education sub-measure (Programme to Promote Success and Reduce Dropouts in Higher Education). As is the case with other projects funded by PRR Investments in this area of activity, the Directorate-General for Higher Education is the body that oversees the physical and financial implementation of SuPERA.
